Discordian Reading List

Some books are about weasels. Some books are about monkeys. Some books are about Eris Discordia, whether they were intended to be or not. This is a reading list that should only be undertaken by serious and studious Erisians, hermetic Discordians, and those who would aspire to be such. Some of these books are easy reading, but by and large they are the sort that tie your brain into knots that don't come out for years if ever. Consider yourself warned. These books are not for the faint of heart (and neither, really, is Eris... so watch your back, neophyte!).

Please note that this list is just a guideline for getting started. Everyone has their own favorites, and there are so many millions of good books we just can't list them all. In making this list, we're trying to keep it close to the bare essentials with a few extras in for flavor.

If there's a book we've missed that should be on this list, or you'd like to alert us to a link to a good review of any of the books currently on the list, please mail us. Again, there are millions of good books, so please carefully consider what you'd submit to this list. It should be something you feel would resonate with many Discordians. Thanks.
