This past evening, whilst getting sprayed by sprinklers and just generally making trouble, His Wholiness the Dailai Lemon and myself came up with an idea for a new slang term we'd like to see propigated. If you deem it cool enough, we humbly ask that you use the term and get your friends to use it and thereby spread our meme.

For decades, the term '420' has been used to refer to marijuana. '420-friendly' is a frequently desired quality in personal ads seeking romantic partners and/or roomates. April 20th is National Smoke-Out Day for many a pothead, and 4:20 is a frequent light-up time.

If potheads can use numbers, so can acidheads.

We hearby propose that from now on, LSD shall also be known by the term '523'. "Got any 523 man?" should be heard all over the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. "Are you into 523?" should be one of the questions frequently asked of new friends. May 23rd should become National Fry Day, and 5:23 should become the ideal time to drop.
